the perfect composition

beansaver component
Coffee grounds

serves primarily as a fast-acting fertiliser. In addition, its pH value of 6.6 – which is almost neutral – has a very positive effect on the soil environment.

This is a real advantage for the sensitive little plants, especially in spring when they are growing young plants.

beansaver component
Sheep wool

serves as a slow-release fertiliser and is only effective after 3-4 weeks in the soil, when the plants start to grow.

Sheep wool attracts water and stores it. A real lifesaver for many balcony flowers and flower beds, especially in summer during hot spells.

beansaver component
wood

loosens the soil, which is better aerated and waterlogging can be avoided.

It also serves as a source of food and is composted, generating heat that makes it easier for plants to grow and form better roots, especially in spring. Good roots mean a high yield in the garden.

Circular economy of the future

Innovation in a nutshell

One of our first products, the all-season fertiliser made from recycled coffee grounds, was created in response to several challenges facing our customers and the environment. Here are the key points of how BeanSaver® can help with this innovative product:

kaffee recycling

Sustainability

By using recycled coffee grounds, we reduce the amount of organic waste that ends up in landfill, thereby reducing the production of methane gases that contribute to climate change.

coffee

Soil improvement

Our fertiliser improves the soil structure and promotes water retention. This is particularly important in areas with a dry climate or for plants that require higher soil moisture.

coffee

Efficient

The coffee grounds develop their natural fertilising effect immediately, while the sheep’s wool component takes full effect after approx. 3 weeks, exactly when the plants need strength for their growth.

coffee

Environmentally friendly production

The process of converting coffee grounds and silver skin into fertiliser is energy-efficient and reduces CO2 emissions compared to conventional fertiliser production.

coffee

Profitability

For farmers and gardeners, our year-round fertiliser offers a cost-effective alternative to conventional fertilisers, which can lead to savings in the long term.

coffee

Diversity

Suitable for a wide range of plant species, our fertiliser offers a flexible solution for different types of cultivation – from agriculture to the home garden; or the balcony in your home.

coffee

Promotion of the circular economy

Our customers not only support the health of their plants, but also actively contribute to the circular economy by reintroducing waste products into the economic cycle.

coffee

Customer involvement

We continuously incorporate customer feedback into our product development to ensure that our year-round fertiliser meets and exceeds needs and expectations.
